I went to a family party with my girlfriend and met her family for the first time. When I was taking her back home she said that her stepfather told her that he approved of me but that I was kinda green. What does this mean????
I know he wasn’t talking about being good for the enviornment.

Homeboy B: Nah man, this the third time you ridin low.
Homeboy A: Yo why you gotta be green fo!

Haven’t you heard of the phrase ‘turned green with jealousy’……… may be it has something to do with that………. try and recall your interactions with her stepfather, did you do anything that could pass such green vibes ?
or better still, why don’t you ask your girl about that… its quiet OK to ask rather than jump to absurd conclusions…..

It means young/inexperienced. Don’t worry about it. Being called green is a good thing…the other adjectives have negative connotations that lean more to “immature idiot”. He called you young, a little goofy, and said that you had not a lot of life experience. It’s an affectionate term.
